What I've been up to #1 (Oct. 30th 2016)

Anyone here?? Haha~ Anyway, this is what I've been up to since I started school. Not really school-related stuffs. ╮( ꒪౪꒪)╭
I didn't have time to take the time to post something here but this week (from the 31st of October to 4th of November) it's reading week, yessssssssss. I do have school work to do, but I don't have exams to study for hehehe.
Really not a useful post, but if I ever make an update on this, that would be really interesting to see if I made any progress..

Hair
I want to grow my hair longer more than ever. My hair is already fairly long, but the ends thinned out so much. I believe it's because this spring, I curled my hair like 1-2 times a week for about 2-3 months... That's when the ends started to thin out but I was too stupid to realize it back then. I also want to grow out my natural hair color. After years of hating my black hair, now I like it.
Except Moroccanoil, I don't put any products (anymore) in my hair.
As for hair masks, I did try one time Paul Mitchell Hair Repair Treatment (2011) and Redken Extreme Strength Builder hair masks (a couple of months ago), but to be honest, I didn't notice any difference and I found the price wasn't worth the products. So I decided to try drugstore products and bought Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures hair mask.

So, does it work?? I have no idea honestly. I've only used it two times to date. On the outside, I haven't seen any difference hahaha. But it makes my hair smell really good. I looooooove the scent, my hair has never smelled that good. As for detangling my hair, sometimes it works well, others it's not that great. But I would buy it another time.

Update (Dec 15th 2016): I've been using this product one time/week (on wednesdays) from the time that I bought it. I haven't seen a substantial difference in my hair since (in terms of damage repair and strength). I feel the product has not positively nor negatively impacted my hair.
However, I love using the product because it makes my hair smell extremely good. I know I already said it. But because of that I'm definitely gonna buy it again when I'll be out of it (I still have some for about 2-3 more times).

Also, I've been looking for quite a while for an oil to put in my hair after showering. I love Moroccanoil, but the fact it has silicones in it and people saying it's so bad for your hair freaks me out.. although I've never stopped using it cuz I like it, but once I find something great, hopefully more natural, I'll switch hair oil.

I also bought a comb? Cuz a lot of people say brushes are bad for your hair. I'm gonna be boring, but again, no significant change noticed.. My excuse is, I bought these two products two weeks ago so I can't say a lot. Maybe in a couple of months I'll be able to comment more on these products.

Update (Dec 15th 2016): Haha, I still have no idea if combing my hair made a difference., however I do feel my hair is easier to detangle with a comb sometimes, especially after a shower when my hair dried. But when my hair has a lot of knots at the ends, I prefer detangling the ends with the brush because the comb just won't detangle the knots well.

Fashion
I've been more and more into Japanese Fashion as I became more active on Pinterest (or maybe it's because I got more interested in decoden), even though my wardrobe is far from looking japanese inspired.
I used to love Korean Fashion because of ulzzangs, but since then, I have no idea if the term « ulzzang » is still as popular as it used to be. I do see really pretty girls on Instagram such as 1995.mj and oxxooi, but their style is different compared to Mikki, Seul Ki, or Hong Young Gi's old style. Which is fine and everyone grows up, but still, I do miss this kind of fashion.

Another thing, just google the brand Blythe Zoo. It was my favorite brand when I first knew YesStyle in 2009, I loved how it was cheap and cute. But they stopped selling their clothes via YesStyle a couple of years ago. I went on their Yahoo Taiwan store/page here, and it's obvious they changed the store's style . That's ok and I'm happy if their business is doing better now. Nonetheless I personally feel old fashion was more fun. Or maybe I'm just nostalgic of the old times.

Anyway this brings me to Japanese fashion. I always found a couple of gyaru things cute such as himekaji clothes, but was never completely into the style. I wouldn't say I'm completely into it either right now, but I'm definitely more interested than I was these past years. However to tell the truth, I have no idea what I'm pinning on Pinterest, if it's old fashion or if it's still in vogue today. I just like it because it's pleasing to my eyes.

I bought this fleece thing on eBay:

They're all over the site, offered in other colors, and pretty cheap imo. The quality is much better than I thought it would be. They come with ears and a pompom at the back, but my mother removed them all. I found the pompom especially ugly. :D
Though the elastic was way too tight for me. And since the hoodie had a hole where the elastic showed, I thought cutting it would do the job...

And then...

Lol so ugly. I had to "fetch" back the elastic and staple it to the part I had cut.

But today my mother sewed another elastic that's less tight to solve the problem. It fits perfectly now.

I tried to match this hoodie with my old school uniform skirt and boots I also got from eBay. As for the scarf, it was a birthday present from my sister and parents... it's so soft... it's rabbit fur... I haven't wore it yet even though I got it about one month ago because I'm scared of damaging it. ><
I'm planning to wear this outfit with legwarmers I also bought and white tights, if I can find a pair (I can't find cute white tights in stores here, but I'm tired of having to buy everything online since the items take week to arrive and there are usually shipping fees...)

Have a nice day
